What tools are used for hexagonal bolts and nuts?

Hexagonal nuts and bolts are usually installed or removed using the following tools:

Wrench:

Adjustable wrench (open-end wrench): used for bolts and nuts of different sizes, especially when there is no fixed size wrench, the adjustable wrench can adjust the opening size to adapt to the size of the bolt or nut.

Combination wrench: one end is open and the other end is ring-shaped, which can be used to better fix the bolt or nut.

Hexagonal wrench (hexagonal wrench): used for hexagonal bolts (i.e. the bolt head is a hexagonal hole), tightened or removed by inserting the hexagonal hole.

Torque wrench:

Used to accurately control the tightening force, ensure that the bolt or nut reaches the specified torque value, prevent over-tightening or over-loosening, and is often used in occasions that require precise assembly.

Electric screwdriver or electric wrench:

Suitable for quick installation or removal of bolts and nuts, especially in large-scale construction, which can improve work efficiency.

Pliers:

Pipe wrenches: For some bolts or nuts that are difficult to operate with ordinary wrenches, pipe wrenches can provide greater grip to help tighten or loosen.

Impact wrenches:

Used to remove or install very tight bolts, especially suitable for occasions such as wheels and larger mechanical devices that require high torque.

Socket wrenches:

Using different sizes of socket heads and wrench handles, you can quickly install or remove bolts and nuts of various standard sizes.

Choosing the right tool according to the specific type and size of bolts and nuts can improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
